PPL Requirements
To be eligible to pursue your Private Pilot License, you must:

Be at least 16 years old to fly solo.

Be at least 17 years old to receive your private pilot certificate.

Read, speak, write, and understand English.

Obtain at least a third-class medical certificate.

Perform basic math: adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.

Be able to attend flight school at our facility in KFRG Republic Airport Farmingdale, NY.
Private Pilot License
The private pilot license (PPL) is your first step into the world of aviation. You'll be able to fly during good weather (VFR Conditions) with passengers. For career minded pilots the PPL license will be your first course leading you toward your goal of flying for a commercial airline.
Requirements: Although flight training can begin at any age you will have to be at least 16 years old to solo a plane. In order to take the final exam (Check-ride) you must be at least 17 years old, hold at least an FAA third class medical, student pilot certificate & read/speak/write english, passed the FAA written exam with at least a score of 70 and have completed the minimum training requirements .
