We put together a list to help answer some of the questions you may have. If you don't see an answer to your question here please call us during normal business hours and we will assist you over the phone. 

I purchased/received a voucher for
a flight lesson. How do I redeem?

 

You may click on the "Schedule" button above. Choose the button for "Voucher" and you will be able to book your flight directly through the site (select either plane or helicopter then click on NEXT. Appointments are based upon availability and weather.

What are your hours?

 

We are open 9AM to 6PM seven days a week and we fly anytime weather permitting by appointment only.

What is the minimum age to learn
how to fly?

 

There is no minimum age to start flight training. You do have to be at least 16 years old to fly solo and 17 years old to obtain your private pilot license.

Is it hard to learn to fly?

 

People of all shapes and sizes, ages, and disabilities have learned to fly. While flying isn't a difficult skill to learn, you'll have to put a lot of effort and be willing to stick with it until you meet all the requirements.

Is flying safe?

Like anything we do in our daily activities, everything involves some risks. Although a well maintained aircraft flown by a competent and prudent pilot is as safe as or safer than many other forms of transportation.

How long will it take to get my
Private Pilot license?

 

The FAA requires 40 hours, but realistically, most students need about 60-70 hours to master the skills necessary to obtain a private pilot license. Depending on how often you fly, you should be able to obtain a license within a few weeks or months if you're consistent. Our instructors offer personalized training and will customize instruction based on each student's learning process and time each student has to devote to flying.

How much does it cost to get a private pilot license?

 

Prices vary depending on how quick you learn and what type of aircraft you want to use during your flight training. You can expect to pay between $14,500 to $17,000 based on the FAA minimums and national average for your Private Pilot License. When do I need a medical certificate?

 

You will need a medical certificate before flying solo in an airplane. We strongly suggest you get your medical certificate, before you start spending money on flight lessons. This will save you a lot of time, money, and heartache in case you don't pass your medical certificate.

What do I do after I get my
private pilot's license?

 

First of All, Congratulations!!! You are now a free bird... and you now belong to the elite 1% of the population that can fly! You may start to rent planes to fly at your leisure anywhere in the world. Or if you want to continue towards a career in the aviation industry, you may start to obtain your instrument ratings and commercial license. Our instructors shall provide you with detailed information and guidance on what you'd like to achieve.

Where do I get the supplies
I need to start my flight training?

 

As a student pilot, you will need lots of books, charts, a flight computer, and headset. We can provide you with all the necessary materials. Once you start your flight training, your instructor will provide an itemized list.
